FindTabs encourages all of its users to contribute their input, and in fact is designed to maximize the impact of positive energy. Because the nature of guitar tabs is such that they are ear-transcribed and by no means official, it follows that musicians will differ in their opinions of the usefulness of any particular tab. Therefore, in order to cultivate a database containing only the most useful guitar tabs and chords, FindTabs members have the power to submit their own tabs, to rate tabs, to delete tabs, and to decide which new tabs are added to the database.
